Where have I been!

So when I started this blog I started pretty good. Blogging around twice a week and then for some reason I stopped. I have no idea just stopped. Well I am going to try again and shoot for once a week. I did finally gain motivation to work out. I bought a Jillian Michels workout dvd and have been doing it for the last 2 weeks 5 times a week. I have only lost 3lbs but I feel great. I have also been trying to eat better and cut my calories when I can. I am still going strong on breastfeeding and can't cut my calories to much but I can defiantly eat better. After reading a few articles I read a breastfeeding mom can have up to 2000 a day and can do 20 to 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day, weight loss will be slow but if you work hard and stay motivated you can lose up to 1.5 lbs a week so that is the goal! That is all I have been doing working out and being a mom. Bailey is getting so big she is smiling all the time and laughing and way more active! She is getting to the fun stage where they are so much fun. She is also getting a tooth! A little white dot is poking through here gums in the front. Its a little early but if I remember correctly Aubrey teethed early so I guess it runs in the family. Aubrey has been super busy. She finished her first year of prek with flying colors! She can write her name and knows what all the letters look and sound like she is just to smart! She also had her recital which was the cutest thing! She is such a ham! Of course we have been to the park tons of times, Aubrey has so much energy she can just go go go all the time she loves to play! Her favorite games are tag and hide and go seek. Aubrey also loves to go to church so I have trying to do my best to get us there every Sunday and I have actually been enjoying it to, we all feel better when we go to church. Aubrey has a pretty fun summer ahead of her but that is for another blog. My nephew Wesson turned one the other week and had a swimming party. He is the cutest thing! He is literally the best baby, smiling and letting all the kids mess with him. He loves the water and was jumping right in, so precious! Easter and my birthday both passed. Easter was really fun, Aubrey and I colored easter eggs and I think she went on a million egg hunts. She loved hunting for all the eggs! Aubrey and Bailey had matching dresses and it was so cute, yes I will be one of those moms who makes her kids dress alike! It just so adorable how could you not! Matt got me the best present for my birthday, a new sweet camera. Its a Fuiji and not super complicated. I am still trying to work out all the kinks but it takes great pictures! My birthday was fun nothing to crazy just very chill. Well that kind of gets you up to speed. Here are a few pictures too!

Love ya'll and God Bless!

TV Time

So I have gotten hooked on Dancing with the Stars. My favorites "stars" are Hines Ward (of course), the wrestling guy and chelsea(she is on the disney channel). I like Kendra but she is a horrible dancer and I think her number my be up her pretty soon., but it seems her fans are keeping her on the show. I think Kristi is funny but not as good as a dancer as everyone thinks she, in fact she sucks too, all hype. I mean all she does is shimmy a few times and evryone is oohhhing and aaahhing over her. Her actual dancing is horrible. Everyone else is ok. Bad Girls club is almost over and I am a little sad. I still like Jessica the most. She has been the most real and actually trying to learn something about herself. Unlike the other girls how are still just as ridiculous as ever. Char you are a idoit, so not mature and a walking contridiction. Nikki is childish and gets on my nerves a long with Kori and Lauren. Can't wait for the reunion show, I think it will be awesome, so girls don't disapoint! Glee and NCIS is back and I am so happy! I am hoping the glee kids win nationals and really love Holly Holiday (played by Gwenth Paltrow). She is so good on the show. NCIS has introduced the Port to Port killer, I am thinking it is CIRay as Tony calls him. I also hate that Tony and newbie EJ are together. She really irks me and I think Gibbs feels the same way. Can't wait to see how all of these end in there season's finales coming soon, a little sad about that too. The Royal wedding has been all over the place and I can't wait for it to be over. All I want to know is what her dress looks like. All this coverage is craziness, kind of like charlie sheen coverage but with less drugs and alcohol. I heard about this famous movie producer that has some HBO special out and apparently he has a wife and a mistress and has for several years! The wife doesn't care and the mistress doesn't care that he won't get divorced. I think it is crazy but apprently this guy use to give his wife a million dollars everytime he cheated. So I say if matt wants to cheat and then give me a million dollars then I think it is ok, lol. I am really wanting a girls night soon, a few good chick flicks are coming out, Bridesmaids and Something Borrowed. Both look funny and really good. Here is the Something Borrowed Trailer
Here is another trailer for a movie that I want to see that looks hilarous! I love Cameron Diaz when she does comedy and Bad Teacher seems right up my alley. I think I might get Matt to see this one!
Thats all folks! Enjoys the trailers

Slow Week

Not much happened this past week, kind of slow week... well sort of.  Aubrey went to Corpus Christi with Matt's Dad and Step Mom for four days last weekend. I really missed her, she drives me crazy sometimes but I missed her being around and keeping me busy. We she came home I swear she grew like million inches in height and spunk. She had so many stories about the beach, swiming and all animals she saw. I love listening to her tell stories, she gets so excited. I think she had a blast and wants to go back as soon as possible. Hopefully we can take a trip this summer somewhere! Also we have had a alot less meltdowns, maybe getting out of town was exactly what she needed! Well Aubrey has been acting better Miss Bailey has been a little cranky. We went out to eat for a friends birthday last Wednesday and Bailey cried the whole time. Almost everytime I go some place at night and take Bailey and she is awake then she is crying or very cranky. If she is home then she isn't as bad and more calm. I asked the dr at her 2 month visit and she thinks she may just be temperamental and may have colic. She gave me some tips to help with the gas and spit that might ease the colic ( 1/4 tsp of mylanta) so I am trying that. Let you know how it goes. It just really sucks when she cries while we are out. I get so stressed out. You always want to have the baby that never cries and wants to be held by everyone and acts perfect. But this is the real world, hopefully Bailey will grow out of it and she can show every one her sweet side like she does to me at home, cooing and smiling. She does sleep good at night, I have that!! lol I love and adore both my kids and I would be lying if I told you they were perfect all the time but that is what is great about parenting it is a adventure every day and teach you a lot about yourself. I have more patience then I ever thought I had! Bailey already weighs 11 1/2 pounds and is 22 inches long. She is growing so fast, what am I going to do! Matt and I did get a date night last weekend. We went and saw Scream 4 at the drive-in and it was awesome. Well I liked it, Matt hated it. At least he got to eat a turkey leg. If you liked the other screams then you will like this one. The twist at the end is so good! I feel the scream movies is my generation's scary movie series, like the 80s and 90s have leather face and freddy, we have ghost face! I do feel old watching it, Neve went from high school to adult in 4 movies, I guess I did to so crazy! Here is my weight loss plan... eat less and work out more. So far it has been very hard! I do good one day then totally slack the next. I have to be more committed, I have got to get some of this weight off, at least get back into my fat pants!! I think I have a carb problem, so I am going to try and snack on healthier snacks instead of bread and crackers hopefully that will help. Easter is coming up and so excited, lots of fun things planned, let you all know how it all goes! Love ya and God Bless!

It's been awhile...

Well it has been awhile since I have blogged so I gonna do a little catch up. We have been kinda busy, it is a lot harder to get things done with a baby and a 4 year old running around than I thought, sorry folks kids, house cleaning and laundry come before blogging. Had some free time today so lets start with last weekend. The girls and I went to my nephew cooper's basketball game. It was so cute. My brother is coaching and it is kind of hilarious. Watching John run up and down the court yelling at kids trying to get them to pay attention. Basketball seemed a lot smoother than soccer because the ball isn't going in every which direction, its a little more controlled but still controlled chaos... sort of, they are 3 and 4 and have minds of there own. John was like sometimes they just run off and not even pay attention. Really John? They are 3 with a attention span of a nat! I also think it is funny that John is coaching basketball since that was the one and only one sport he sucked at! Overall it was fun to watch and Cooper did a great job and he can dribble. I am looking forward to watching another game! Aubrey also went to her best friends birthday party last weekend. It was a cupcake party and super fun. Aubrey loves to play with Ava and didn't want to come home! They made cupcakes and got super cute chef hats and aprons that were awesome! Ava's mom is awesome, she put the whole party together and did a great job! Aubrey's loves to ride her bike and she got to ride it to the park by our house a few times this week when the weather was nice. She got a big bike for Christmas but still likes to ride her little bike. Hopefully this summer we can upgrade to the new bike because she loves to ride, well she just loves to be outside! With summer fast approaching I wanted to get Aubrey's hair cut and we did the other day. It is super cute, we trimmed the bangs and cut her hair into a bob. She did so great while the lady cut her hair, I was so proud. She loves her new haircut, it looks so much healthier and thicker. She woke up the next day and asked if she still had her haircut, I was like yes!!! I was also able to do a little shopping for the girls for summer. Aubrey has no shorts so we went shopping for some summer clothes. Got some really cute stuff. I love shopping for them, it makes me feel good. I guess that is part of being a parent but I think it is fun. Aubrey is also at the age where she can help me pick out clothes for her so we have stuff she likes, which helps when getting dressed. This week has been rough with Aubrey, I don't know what caused it or if it is just her age but we have had a full on melt down at least once a day! It drives me crazy, I think she is testing me and her limits, but I did not break! I stayed strong and stood my ground. We had a melt down at Brauns and I had to throw her ice cream away. Some days are tougher than others but I am doing my best. She is just a very spirited child, which is one of the things I love about her just some days are more spirited than others! Miss Bailey is just growing like a weed. I can tell she is getting longer and heavier! I am trying to cherish every day, because she is growing so fast. She has started smiling and it just warms my heart when she does. Aubrey loves to see her smile too and has even made her smile a few times. Matt and I were finally able to get a small date night in our schedule. Just the 2 of us. We ate at Jason's Deli and saw the movie Your Highness. Dinner was great and the movie was hilarous! If you like rude crude humor you would love it. Matt and I both loved the movie. It was really nice to get out of the house and spend some time together. Other than Matt working and me cleaning  the Bakers haven't done much else this past week. Love you guys and God Bless!

Feeding Time!

I am breastfeeding Bailey and since I am going to stay home I really want to breastfeed her for at least 6 months hopefully 9. There are a lot of upsides and downsides to breastfeeding. I only got to breastfeed Aubrey for 3 months. I had to go back to school and work. I had to pump all the time and still couldn't produce enough to feed her, so we had to supplement with formula and eventually I wasn't producing anything. I also hated pumping all the time. Breast milk is a supply and demand kind of process. The less you feed or pump the less milk is produced. Breast milk is so healthy for your baby and has many benefits like helping with the immune system, helps fight obesity and many more. Of course there are always special cases that can refute all these benefits. I am pretty pro breastfeeding and hope all moms at least try it but I do understand not all mom's can and no one should feel pressured to do so. The more stressed out you are the harder it is to breastfeed. I mean breast milk is free food! Formula is so expensive, you can run out and if you have a hungry baby then you have some problems. Breastfeeding came so naturally both times. Of course my boobs were sore for like a week and breastfeed babies do eat more often than formula babies and that can be trying. I could not breastfeed in public with Aubrey, I was so shy and even wouldn't do it in front of friends and family. With Bailey I have been more brave maybe because I am older and more confident with myself. I have had to feed Bailey in public a few times and I am pretty sure I have flashed a few people. I am getting the hang of it. The more I do it, the more easy it comes. You have to find a good position, make sure your all covered and relax. Again if your stressed your baby can tell and feeding won't be as successful. I haven't seen anyone giving me bad looks but I am really not paying attention just trying not to flash the boob. No one has asked me to take it outside or anything and if they did I might have to get rude. As long as everything is covered, I don't see a problem with it so if you see me feeding my baby in public and don't like it, keep it to yourself! I do love the bond you get with your baby when you breastfeed. They say your baby feels more secure when you do and is less likely to have colic and sleep better. But of course that is all relative. Aubrey didn't sleep good until she was like a year old. Bailey has so far been a little better but only time will tell. I have been good about her sleeping in her cradle and not in the bed. I have done a lot more reading on breastfeeding this time than last and that is probably why I have more success with feeding this time. Babycenter.com is a great site and has some really good information. I think I check it everyday for information. They have tips from moms and experts. I suggest it for any mom. A positive and a negative for breastfeeding is that you are the sole provider of food for your baby. You always have food ready to go at any time and of course the bonding time. Breastfeeding does make it hard to get out with out the baby. Luckily I have a breast pump to help out. Breast pumps are awesome, you can pump a supply for use later, helps with engorgement and it can help produce more milk if you think you are not producing enough. That is also kind of a down fall, you never really know how much food your baby is getting. You just have to trust your instincts and keep tabs on your baby. Your baby will let you now when they are done or want more. Bailey gets really hungry at night which is good because it helps her sleep longer at night. Bailey always pulls away  when she is done. All babies of course are different, you really just need to feel your baby out, you will know what to do! I am not going to be one of those moms that breastfeeds for like 2 years or something odd like that. I don't think I could feed a kid that is bigger than my lap! Another draw back would be drinking alcohol. I am not a heavy drinker but I would like to let loose every once and in while. I mean I haven't had a drink in almost a year, I think I should be able to let loose everyonce in awhile. When you breastfeed you have to be cautious, only one drink a hour unless you pump a lot  and then maybe you can let loose! I plan on pumping a lot for my birthday so I can a few beverages! The reason you can't drink a lot  while breastfeeding is because what ever you eat and drink your baby gets the same thing. No one likes a drunk baby! But seriously you always have to be cautious when eating and drinking. With Aubrey I couldn't eat dairy because she would spit up a lot, so far with Bailey she does pretty good with everything. I really do enjoy breastfeeding my baby even tho I get stressed out sometimes and I very greatefull that I have been able to do so. I hope every mom at least gives it a chance! Love you guys and God Bless!

It's Britney Bitch!

Ms Britney Spears has a new album out today called Femme Fatale. The album is pretty good. All of the tracks are typical Britney, sick beats, over produced singing, catchy lyrics and I totally love it! My favorite tracks are Till the world ends and Up n' Down. The whole album is good and this morning on GMA Britney annouced that she would be touring with this album and co lining with Enrique Ingelias. She also performed 3 songs off the album, Hold it aganist me, Till the world Ends and Big fat bass. The sound was good, set was awesome, the back up dancers killed it but Britney was lacking something. I will always love Britney and I guess I have to come to terms that she is not the same. Her dancing is weak, prancing around and twirling the the hair is not dancing. It seems to me she has lost a little of the it factor that made her so fier. Toxic was the last time I saw Britney full force, after the meltdown she just hasn't been the same. The music is still good but the live performances are not there. The over all performance for GMA was entertaining, I guess I get all excited to see Britney kill it and she is just kind of chill. If I get to see her on tour this summer I will keep my eye on the back up dancers to get my dance fix. I did get to see the Circus tour and it was awesome, but she did prance around a lot and depend on the dancers to do most of the dancing. No matter what I will always support Britney, I just need to lower my standards and cherish the Britney that was before the big meltdown. I still loved the show and will never forget the expierence I just wish I could have seen her in her prime. Here is one of the performances from GMA, you be the judge!

Parks and Recreation

The girls and I have had a really good week. I took Aubrey to the park and to the Discovery Center one day. I had a craft day with the girls on Saturday and made a awesome burlap wreath! Aubrey loves the park. I think she could play all day if I let her. She always makes a friend when we go, she is just friendly and it is really cute. We did bubbles one day and all the kids came over to pop bubbles. Kids love bubbles, I mean really love bubbles. I don't get it but if it makes them happy I am all about it. I also love how excited Aubrey gets about stuff. I bought her Popsicles for her treat for being good at school and she just light up with joy. It just warms my heart to see the smile on her face. She also gets that way about Clifford the Big Red Dog tv show but hey I still feel good! Aubrey enjoys the Discovery center. It has gotten so much cooler since I was kid. We spent like 2 hours in there without even realizing it. Right now they have animontronic dinosaurs that are so cool. There is a life size T-rex and a triceratops, they make noises and follow your movements. Aubrey was scared of them at first but after she realized that they weren't going to eat her she like them alot. I also learned that T-rex does have good eyesight, so Jurassic Park got it wrong, thanks for the false info Spielberg! We have a free membership to the Discovery center so I think we will be there alot this summer along with the several trips to the park. I only went to the park twice this week and I already have a flip flop tan! Maybe I won't be so pasty this year if we get outside alot this summer! On Saturday some of my friends and I got together to make burlap wreaths. It was so fun. I know it sounds kind of nerdy but it was so nice. My mom watched both girls so I was kid free for 4 hours and it was really relaxing! We got the idea for the wreaths from this blog http://tatertotsandjello.blogspot.com/2010/01/2010-burlap-wreath-and-giveaway.html. The blog has lots of great crafty ideas too! Here is the picture of the finished product
It was actually easy to make. Cutting out all the circles was the most time consuming and the burlap got every where! So if you try it yourself be prepared to get burlap all over yourself. If your wondering what Matt has been up to all week, he has been working his little buns off. He even working Sunday for overtime. I guess some one has too and we are so gratefully he does! That's all for this week. Oh and no I have not started my diet workout plan yet still working on it. Love you guys and God Bless!

Caught Up

Since we have had the Internet I have been able to catch up on the shows I watch. I think it is so awesome that you can watch old episodes all for free on the Internet.
Glee: I just love Glee, it has everything I love, comedy, singing, dancing and witty banter! My 2 favorite characters are Sue and Santana. They have the best dialogue and have the best comebacks. Santana is actually a really good singer to. New direction has won regionals and going to nationals, so far everything is looking good for them, I have a feeling they won't win nationals but I guess we will have to wait and see. We have a love triangle between, Finn, Racheal and Quinn. I am totally team Finachel! I think Quinn is jealous of Racheal's talent and that she has a shot of getting out town after high school. I also think she is using Finn and that she really doesn't love just the idea of him, she even mentioned something like that in the last episode, she really wants to be prom king, but I think she is just using that to cover her insecurities. We will have to see in the next episode!
Bad Girls Club: Every season it seems these girls get more and more outrageous and of course I love every minute of it! Kori and Jennifer are getting on my nerves. Jen is so loud and obnoxious even more than Nikki. At least Nikki has funny commentary. Jen is boring, all she does is talk on the phone and then yell at people. She needs to go home, I think that is actually Nikki's top priority so I can't wait to see that play out! So in a way Kori sent Ashley home, but I think Kori should had gone, she is a fire starter and has no self esteem.
She can't stay out of other people's business and can bearly handle her own and is always begging for a pity party, girl man up! This is the bad girls house, not everybodys always hatin on me house!!! I have started a new drinking game, every time Char says she is mature, take a shot, you will be drunk by the hour! Char always thinks she is the most mature but if you have to tell people how you are then you are not that way. Actions speak louder that words and her actions are just as childish as everyone else in house, you got problems deal with it!!!
NCIS: I love this show and have been watching for a long time. It is in like the 8th season and becoming a little predictable. I think they need a little spice. Someone needs to fall in love or have a kid or something. The crew needs to change in some way. Also more explosions would be awesome. If they get rid of Gibbs at the end of the season I will be pissed other than that NCIS rocks!
Jersey Shore: I am so over Ron and Sammi, I am not even going to comment on it anymore. The Situation is such a douche but he totally cracks me up. How he tries to sabotage the house with Jwoww's dogs, classic. He does really need to stay out of other people's business, he is totally a fire starter! The finale is coming up and wonder how it is all going to end?
Pretty Little Liars: So spencer and Toby are together, so weird considering she thought he killed her friend not to long ago but I guess it makes for a good story line. For a teen show, the suspense is pretty good. I want to know who A is bad!!! Jenna and Spencer's brother in law totally creep me out, it seems they have so much to hide but everyone does on this show. The cop busted Mr. Fitz and Aria. I wonder if teacher heads for the hills so he doesn't get in trouble. I also love how Emily is becoming more of a bad ass and sticking up for herself and what she believes in. All four main characters have become more and more tough. I like the way the show is progressing. Can't wait to see how the season wraps up on Monday.
Modern Family: You need to watch this show, period!!!
Love you guys and God Bless!

A Little Update

So we finally got Internet at the house and I couldn't be more excited! I feel like I back to the world of the living and don't have to look at the small screen on the ole blackberry anymore! I can also blog all the time, but that probably wont happen, I am going to shoot for twice a week and see how it goes.
On Friday Bailey will be 4 weeks old, I can't believe how fast time flys. She is awake a lot more, she is eating about every 3 hours or I am trying to get her to do that. She has taken to a pacifer, I don't really like pacifers but if it makes her happy and not want to eat every hour then I am all about it! Aubrey is still doing really good with the baby. We were in the car the other day and Bailey started crying and Aubrey gave her the pacifer so she would stop crying. I was so proud of her, she is a really good big sister. Aubrey calls her baby Bailey and says she is so cute. I think a big part of Aubrey having a good attitude is mainly because of Matt. He has been such a good Dad. He has been taking Aubrey on special outing every weekend making sure she gets special attention and feels special too! He will also keep a eye on Bailey so I can have special time with Aubrey. I think that is the key to keeping everyone happy is making sure everyone feels special and that they are getting enough of attention. Don't get me wrong Aubrey still has a fit every now and then but she is 4 but it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be which is good because I was thinking the worst!
I really need to start cleaning up the backyard so Aubrey can play back there and we can have barbeques this summer. It is such a mess, I might need a army to help! I hate yard work worse than cleaning house so will shall see If I actually do it or hire someone. I guessing I will hire so someone or maybe coherse Matt in getting out there! I don't think he likes yard work either lol! I also need to clean out the patio room, It is such a mess out there too! So much to do in such little time. With the baby it has been hard to get out and go see movies which is why I am so excited that the Drive In is open. I think the Bakers will be there a lot this summer, I can't wait! The drive-in is great if you have kids, because they can play before the movie starts and they can move around without bothering other people and it is way cheaper than going to the movie theater. I suggest everyone go to the Tascosa Drive-In this summer, Matt says they have good turkey legs if you like turkey legs.
Well I am going to start my weight loss plan sometime next week. I plan on getting my plan down some time this weekend. I gained 30 pounds with this preganacy and have already lost 20 pounds of it. I think if I start excercising my weight loss will just skyrocket... at least I hope so. When I get the plan done I will let you guys know and keep you up to date on my progress. I have to get serious about this. I am only 26, there should be no reason to be over weight. I mean I could bearly walk Aubrey to the park a couple of blocks away with out breathing heavy. I am hoping this blog helps me stay on track, because I always start out good but lose steam and just give up but this time it has to be permanent, I owe it to my girls to be healthy and in good shape so I can set a good example for them.
That is all the news for this week I will leave you guys with the trailer for Friends with Benefits, it looks really good. Love you guys and God Bless!

In the Groove...

Well Bailey has been home for almost 2 weeks and so far everything has been going pretty good. The mornings are crazy, trying to get Aubrey ready for school, Bailey feed and ready to get in the car and getting me presentable enough that I don't scare anyone when I drop Aubrey off at school. After a few late days I think I have a pretty good system down so everyone is happy and ready to go on time! Bailey has been a pretty good baby so far, eating every 2 to 3 hours and I have been super good about her sleeping in her cradle and not the bed! That is a major accomplishment because with Aubrey she had to be held all the time and would only like to sleep in your arms or in the bed so I am trying to keep at least one kid out of the bed. The answer is yes if your wondering, Aubrey still gets in bed with us or just flat out sleeps with us, that is another issue for another blog. Anyways, I am so far enjoying being at home. I am already compiling a list of things I can do to fix up the house a little. I have so far been able to keep the house clean, laundry kept up, and actually cooked dinner a few nights. I actually cooked fried rice one night and it was pretty good. Next I cook it will be better and then I will give you guys the full recipe once I master it. I am pretty shocked at how OCD I have been about the house being organized and clean, I have never been like this but I guess we all have to grow up sometime. I was just a late bloomer! I am pretty proud of myself. I guess I  shouldn't get to far ahead of myself because I am sure all of that will change when Bailey gets bigger and Aubrey is out of school, but hey for now I am on the ball when it comes to being a housewife!
So the past couple of weeks two of my favorite artists have put out singles that I am super in love with. First off with Lady Gaga with "Born this way" Love the song and the message. Lady Gaga is very very very  very strange and out there but I do love her music. The video is very very very strange, but the song is pretty fierce and freaking awesome, don't be scared check it out! The song makes me happy and want to dance around like a idiot! Her songs always have the best beats and makes me want to go to the club and work it! I noticed with this song and Bad Romance have really good catwalk beats, makes me want to do the Naomi walk all around my house like I am some kind of model working the runway! I think it is also a good song to get you pumped up to work out too. I will be adding it to my work out song list, whenever I start working out (hopefully I do that soon!). Here is the video, please check it out, it will rock your world!
The other song that I am loving is of course from my fav Ms Britney Spears! "Hold it Against Me" is pretty awesome as well. At first I didn't love it but after I played it again and again I began to love it! Britney is back and with a vengeance! I have loved Britney from the beginning and will continue to love her until she or I die! I know she had a crazy phase but I love her and her music. The song is another club hit and makes want to dance and shake it! Another good work out song. The beat is good, Britney sounds good and I just love it all around. The video is good too. I do wish she would dance more or bring it like she use to. Her dancing lately has been lacking but at least she looks good! Can't wait for the rest of the album.

I would like to take a second to do a little segment I like to call "What Really Grinds My Gears(shout out to Family Guy): First off this week Kim Kardashian put out a new single, I heard it on the Extra TV show or something and wish I hadn't it. It was the worst thing ever. What was she thinking!! Paris couldn't do it and neither can you, so stop right now. Keep doing what you do, looking fabulous and filming reality shows! She wasted a lot of money and people's time to put that out and I can't believe some one actually told her she sounded good. Well Kim they lied, it sucks stop it right now, PS I do love the way you dress and do consider you a smart person, we will consider this a lapse in judgement, so don't do it again.  Next Ronnie and Sammie on the Jersey Shore, you guys are BORING! I am so tired of hearing y'all argue and cry. Get over it already. I hate it when they show you guys on the show, I  mean Ronnie is ok when Sam is not around but Sammie you are just boring and stupid. If you can't forgive then leave it alone and move on!! Ronnie stop crying, once is ok but several times, not ok even for girls. That is what grinds my gears!
To wrap it up here is the Teaser Trailer for Hangover 2. I can't freaking wait, it is going to be AWESOME! The Wolf Pack is Back! Love you guys and God Bless!

Bailey's Arrival!

Well if your wondering why I have not blogged in awhile its because I was busy getting ready for a baby, having a baby and getting use to having a newborn again! Let me tell you I have had a blast so far, Aubrey is doing so good with Bailey and so far everything is going pretty smoothly, so far! I wanted to share with you guys my birth story and my first few days with Bailey! I wish I had done this with Aubrey so i am going to do it with Bailey while the events were still fresh in my mind and both experiences were totally different.
My doctor told me on Monday the 14th that if I didn't go into labor by Friday the 18th that he would induce me. I was excited and had a few reservations too. I was so tired of being pregnant and lugging this extra weight around, sleeping was sucking and I was so very uncomfortable all around and having a scheduled delivery sounded very nice. I did also want to go into labor naturally, I always heard that if you are induced the contractions are worse and you are more likely to have a c-section. As Friday approached I got more and more excited and nervous. On Thursday night I got no sleep, too anxious about the delivery in the morning. We arrived at the hospital around 7:30 ish, I made Matt stop and get breakfast because I knew I wouldn't be eating for awhile. I got all suited in my really fancy hospital gown, and the nurse started the IV and the potssion (medicine that makes have contractions). My labor nurse was really great, very nice and and made things go very easy. The contractions weren't not actually that bad at first, very tolerable for the first few hours. Dr. Carrillo came in around 10 and broke my water and told the nurses he wanted to have a baby by 130 and we all laughed but I think he was serious!!  After my water was broke things started chuggin right along and the pain started to get intense, so I called for some pain meds, they started with the easy stuff and I was able to get a little nap but then it was too much and I needed the epidural, STAT! Matt did comment how I was handling the pain a lot better this time around so at least I had that going for me! The anthisgelosit came in to save the day and boy was he a character. He wanted to be called Bob not Dr Bob but just Bob and was full of personality which at the moment I found really annoying but he had pain meds so I was nice. The epidural was in and things started beeping and the nurse was confused and tried to fix everything she could. She called Bob back into the room, turns out I needed a new epidural, which meant they would have to take out the one I had in and put a new one in, which scared me but I wanted the pain to go away so I was like lets do this. The second was not as bad considering my body was still a little numb from the first one, but once we got the second one pumping I felt so much better and was able to take a nap. The pain of getting the epidural is nothing compared to pain of contractions so for me it was a fair trade, a little pain now saves  for a lot of pain later. The nurse told me I was dialating at a really good pace and it was looking like I was really going to have a baby by 130! In the delivery room I had Matt of course, my mom, matt's mom and step mom. People always ask why do you have all of those people in the room. Well I am all drugged up and I know they want to be there and for me it is not a big deal, I am just laid back that way. We had it the same way last time and everything went smoothly so why change things. Besides family is family and Bailey got to meet everyone as soon as she came into the world. So finally I get to full dialation and they are getting everything ready for the delivery and we are just waiting for Dr. Carrillo. Just so you know no epidural in the world will help with the pressure you feel when it is time to push so just prepare yourself! I am feeling strong pressure, I got my mom on the right and matt on left. Dr. Carrillo arrives gets geared up and we are ready to push. Two contractions and just a few pushes later Bailey is here! I literally pushed for like 5 minutes! I was like really she is here!!! I push for like a hour with Aubrey so I was so relived once it was all over. I got to hold Bailey for the first time it was the most awesome feeling. One minute she was in the belly next she is in my arms looking straight at me I can't describe the feeling but it is totally awesome, very emotional. Every body gets cleaned up , cameras are flashing and tears are flowing, tears of joy of course! When I had Aubrey she had to go to the NICU so I didn't get to hold her right away and really see her a lot, so I have been enjoying every moment of having Bailey with me! Let me tell you we had this baby by 130, Dr. Carrillo was right! After Aubrey I was so tired and zombie like, it was so weird that after I had Bailey I felt so good and ready to go! This labor was so easy and fast I am so glad I decided to induce, I now feel good about my decision. The first day at the hospital went by pretty fast lots of visitors and flowers and well wishes. When Aubrey meet Bailey for the first time, Bailey was already in the nursery but she took one look at Bailey through the glass and was like she is adorable!! Aubrey did really well with everything. She was a little freaked out to see a IV in me and having lots of people in one small room. By the second day she was so excited to see Bailey and hold her and touch her. So far we have no jealously but time will only tell. Just so  you know Aubrey was spoiled rotten through the whole weekend by all the grandparents, so we are just making sure she has special time with us and Bailey and so far that has been working. Once the night came it was just me Matt and Bailey. I breastfeed Aubrey and I planned on breastfeeding Bailey too. The first time we did it she latched on so good! Breastfeeding has gone so good since. Of course I am a little sore but it is well worth it for the health of my baby and the hospital did such a good job helping me with any questions, everything was really natural. Only bad part about the whole experience was a little after the delivery once all the drugs had woren off I was still having contraction pain, the nurses could only give me pain meds in pill form. It took 30 minutes for them to kick in and let me tell that pain was almost the worst pain I have ever had, just constant stabbing in my pelvic area, but after the pain meds kicked in everything was fine and we where smooth sailing from there. My pain was under control and was time to get ready for our first night. I was a little nervous about having Bailey in the room all night, thinking I am not going to get any sleep. It turns out the nursery is awesome and will take the baby after your done feeding and let you sleep which was awesome! I decided to stay 2 nights. Matt didn't want to but I wanted to take advantage of the nursery, the jacuzzi tub and room service! I mean we paid for 2 nights, might as well! Sunday comes along, the doctor clears Bailey, she is perfect by the way, and Dr. Carrillo clears me and we are all packed up and ready to go. I got Bailey all dolled up in the car seat and we where ready to go. She did so good on the way home, just sleep the whole way!
The whole experience at the hospital went so smoothly and everything was so great I can hardly believe it. Bailey is so happy and healthy and so am I. We are one happy Baker Family!
Here is Bailey Elizabeth Baker Born 2-18-11 at 1:27pm 7lbs 11oz 20 inches long and totally perfect!

I go walkin...

Not much went on this weekend just hanging out at the house. I did try and do a lot of walking to try and get this baby to come out but she just isn't ready! I am already getting the feeling that I am going to have 2 totally different kids on my hands! I went to the doctor on monday and he said if we don't have a baby by friday morning we can induce on friday. I am excited for that. I did just want to go into labor naturally but I am so ready to get the ball rolling on this! Baby Bailey needs to come into this world, everybody is ready to meet her! I tried some wishfull thinking on monday morning, I got my house all clean, took a shower and packed my bag hoping when I went to doctor he would be like let's just go now but that didn't happen. I guess a few more days won't kill me, I hope! If you guys are wondering if I have tried the other wives tales to help induce labor, I HAVE! All of them except for maybe the castor oil, my doctor advised me against it which is ok because I don't think I could anyways!
Aubrey and I got to help my friend Jessica make cookies (from scratch) and Aubrey was such a good helper. She just loved rolling out the dough and using the cookie cutter! We made quite the mess but they turned out pretty good. I should have taken pictures but I forgot! Next time for sure! Aubrey is becoming such a good helper and I think she is going to be such a great big sister, I can't wait to see her in action!
I did get the chance to watch the grammys which weren't to bad this year. All the performances were really good my favorite of the night was the Aretha Franklin tribute. 2 of my favorite voices were part of the phenomenal group that sang, Christina Aguilera and Jenifer Hudson. Jenifer looks great by the way. All the women did a great job. If you didn't catch it you should definitely you tube it, really good. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Miranda Lambert did a good job too! Mick Jagger did a song, he is just so strange to me. Not a big fan of his voice or spastic dance moves but you have to give him credit for being such a mover and a shaker at his age. The big surprise for me was that album of the year went to Arcade Fire, never listened to their music before but very nice and refreshing to see a indie alternative group getting some recognition at the grammys. Well that's all for now, love you guys and God Bless!

Grab Some Popcorn!

It's tv and movie review time!!! Are you ready? I didn't get to watch all my shows this week but I did catch a few good ones. Matt and I actually went to the movies last weekend and some really good trailers came out this week. Since this is my first review blog, especially with my TV shows, hopefully with time it will be more concise and you will understand what is going on. For this first time I will do the best I can, feel free to ask questions if you get confused or want more info! So lets get started.
Mondays are like my girls night. I go over to my friend Jessica's house and we cook, ok she cooks and then  we watch our favorite guilty pleasure Bad Girls Club! Let me just say these girls are wild, crazy and completely insane and I totally love it! The drunker they get and crazier they are the better! Its hard to think that girls like this actually exist and really act this way but apparently there are! I haven't figured out which girl is my favorite this season, they are all kinda annoying. I thought I liked Sydney but I think I just like her fire red hair more. Char is a walking contradiction, she tries to pull the "I am older and more mature" card but she is the first one to toss someones clothes in the pool and and get in someones face, yeah real mature girl!! If I had to pick someone I would say I like Jessica. So far she seems the most real and comfortable in her own skin and not a follower. Kori, OMG is the most insecure and biggest follower, Char says "jump" and she is like"How high?". Lauren and Nikki are just plain annoying but make for good drama, so I guess you can't be too mad at them. On this weeks episode Nikki was makin out with this guy and it literally made me sick! I don't know how she gets guys, she seems so manly! I guess there are a few dudes out there that dig it. The girls went to San Fran this week, it seemed like everyone was getting along, a new alliance formed (Nikki and Lauren), which Char hates of course and at the end Sydney decided she couldn't handle the BGC house and punched out early, I think it was a little weak but hay I am not there having to deal with everyday.  I guess the girls will get another newbie and see if she can stir anymore drama!
I also watch this show called Pretty Little Liars. Not only is the show really good and suspenseful but the fashion these girls wear is pretty cool. Yes, I am admiring the fashion of a show that is set in high school. These girls dress really good! It seems to be more wearable then the fashion of gossip girl, at least for me. The character Spencer had a really cute shirt on this week and I really want it. Here is what it looked liked:
  Je Suis une Amie

I love the whole look really! So the show is really good too. It is about 4 friends that have a bunch of secrets that they thought only one person knew, that person being there friend Allison. Who was suspiciously murdered last summer and now some one is threatening to spill all their secrets and calling themselves -A.  While all this is going on they are trying to survive high school! My favorite story line so far is the one for Emily she is the athlete of the group and comes from very strict military parents. She just recently came out to her parents. I didn't like her much at the beginning but she is becoming stronger and more sassy as time goes by. The show is in midseason so I don't want to take a lot of time describing what has been going on, but every person they think is A is not and no one seems to be who these girls think they are! All the girls have a pretty good story line, Aria is the eccentric one who is in love with her English teacher (who by the way loves her too!), Hanna is the rich popular girl who is no longer rich and super sassy and Spencer is the smart one who thinks her sister just married the guy who she thinks killed Allison. Makes for pretty good drama.
Last Friday Matt and I got to go see the Green Hornet in 3D. The 3D effects were OK, but overall I really liked the movie and so did Matt. It stared Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz. If you want a synopsis and trailers click HERE. They movie is based on one of the oldest radio turned old school TV shows now turned movie. I guess you could put it in the big blockbuster comic book section but it is not based on a comic book. The action was really good, the guy that played Kato (the sidekick) was really awesome. The guy that played Kato on the TV show was Bruce Lee if that helps with the mental picture, basically a martial arts badass! Seth Rogen was the Green Hornet. The humor was good and typical Seth Rogen humor. I thought the story line was good and overall though it was not a waste of a 10 dollar movie ticket! I would give it 3 stars out of 5. If you don't like action or comic book movies you won't like it so don't bother otherwise go see it!
Portman and Aston Kutcher in it and is basically about 2 friends trying to be friends with benefits, but as we all know that doesn't always work out. Just Go With It has Adam Sandler and Jenefer Aniston and seems pretty funny. Adam Sandler plays this guy who pretends to be married to get girls, finally finds a good one and then has to pretend to be married but going through a divorce to keep the girl. They both look funny and have a feel good feeling about them. We will see if I make it to either!
Lastly here are the trailers of 2 movies that are coming out this summer, one action and one chick flick, hope you enjoy!

Until next time, Love you guys and God Bless!

Snow, Cleaning, Valentines and more Cleaning!

Well I survived my first couple of days of being at home. We had a huge snow storm on Tuesday night and everyone was snowed in.  Aubrey got to stay home with me on Wednesday. Matt and Aubrey tried playing in the snow yesterday but it didn't turn out so good. They didn't last very long, and the snow wasn't sticking together good enough to make a snowman. Plus it was super cold! I should have taken pictures, but of course I thought about it too late! I am tired of the snow, so that groundhog better be right, I am so ready for spring! I am also ready to have this baby!!! These last couple of weeks sure do suck, the baby is so low it is getting harder and harder to do things, like my recent obsession with cleaning! Anyone that knows me knows how I HATE to clean and I would rather be lazy then lift a finger, but recently I have been wanting everything clean all the time It is kind of freakin me out! The upside is my house is always clean and how can that be a bad thing, right? We will see how long it last, hopefully forever! Daytime television is not that bad, but as I watch through out the day the same stories are being commented on over and over again.  My favorites right now are Regis and Kelly and Ellen. These shows are the most upbeat and fun, just like me! lol! I like funny people and positive things and Regis and Kelly and Ellen are both of those and always have good guests on. So my first week home has been filled with mostly cleaning the house, getting all the baby stuff ready and cleaning the house! I scrubbed doors yesterday people, what is wrong with me!!! I did get all of Bailey's clothes hung up and ready to go. The bedding is on the crib, just waiting for the crib sheets that have been on back order for a couple of weeks. They said this morning they have been shipped so hopefully they arrive quickly! Today I cleaned Aubrey's room. I threw away some toys that have seen better days and donating some that we just don't need. Aubrey has so many toys it is ridiculous! She has like 12 baby baby dolls!!! What kid needs 12 baby baby dolls? Not mine, so off to goodwill they go! Is it just me or does anyone else feel bad for throwing out toys or donating them after watching Toy Story 3? I know it is just a movie, but the thought is always in the back of my mind, I am such a sap! Aside from cleaning, I did get a little crafty the other day. Valentine's Day is approaching and I decided to make some valentines for Aubrey's school and a special gift for all the grandparents. I got the idea from the Family Fun website, here is the link family fun-valentine blossoms. The website also has alot of other great ideas! I used scrap booking paper for the petals, leaves and center piece. Mine look a little busy but they still turned out pretty good if I don't say so myself! If I do them again I will probably use construction paper and scrap booking paper so they don't look so busy. Here are the pictures of the finished product:

I also made a valentine ornaments for all the grandparents. I bought the foam kit from Hobby Lobby and put a picture of Aubrey inside and decorated them with jewel heart stickers. They turned out really good and was cheaper than buying cards for everyone. I think stuff like this is better than cards anyways, a little more personal! Here are some pictures of the finished product:
Well it been a pretty good snowed in week so far. Tomorrow I hope to blog about my TV and Movie reviews, so stay tuned for that. Love you guys and God Bless!

Weekend Wrap Up: Superbowl Edition

Well the big event for the weekend was definitely the superbowl! I didn't go into labor so Matt was able to watch the whole game without a problem except for the devastating loss, but more on that later. We had a few people at the house to watch the game, actually our house was pretty packed! Our house isn't too big so when you get like 10 or people in there and throw in some crazy kids then you have a very full Baker house! Over all I think we all had a good time. We had lots of delicious food and plenty to drink, for those who could drink, ie not me, cause I am still prego! Matt and I got a 6ft sub from walmart for the party it was really good and super cheap, like 25 bucks, so if you ever need a sub sandwich for anything walmart is the place to go! Before I talk football lets start with the commercials. I thought the commercials where kind of lacking this year, the only one that stood out was the VW darth vadar one, it was super cute and made me laugh! Some of the Doritos and Bud Light ones where good but as whole I was a tad disappointed. Here is my top commercial for the SuperBowl!

The half time show was good, but the sound was horrible. Fergie just doesn't sing good live for me, in studio on a track I love her voice and I do think she can sing but live I just wasn't diggin on it. I think the performance was better than it has been in the past, more to date and relevent but maybe next year the people who are in charge can make sure the sound quality is better. I do give them props for singing live on such a big stage and large audience.
Guess now on to the game. I am very disappointed in the game. the steelers played like crap. I mean 4 interceptions Ben!!!! Really??? It seemed like they didn't want it enough or something, I mean they could have scored right at the end, but they threw it away. Troy didn't have one interception, not one!!! I have to give it to the packers, they played the better game. In my opinion the steelers didn't even show up!! Well I guess we will have to wait until next year to see if things turn out better for the steelers. Ben just better lay low all off season, don't be a douchebag dude!!! Hopefully all this lockout business will be taken care of also. If any one wants to talk crap, take it somewhere where else, especially if you are a cowboy fan. I don't want to hear it! Speaking of cowboy fans, I am sad to report that the Baker house was full of more cowboy fans than steeler fans yesterday, but thats all right, we love the steelers whether they win or lose and to me that is a true fan, I just wished they won yesterday!
On baby news I am 38 weeks today and I went to the doctor and I am dialated to a 1. If I don't go into labor before the 19th he said he would induce me. So in 2 weeks baby Bailey will definitely be here and I can't wait. So tired of being prego!!!
This is my first week of not working, I plan on getting a lot of stuff done before Bailey gets here so hopefully I will have updates on that this week. That's the wrap up. Love you guys and God Bless!

Work and Football, coming to a close!

So it has been awhile since I have been able to blog and I have a lot to talk about!!
First topic, work. This was my last week of work, actually today is my last day! I am really excited about not having to go to work everyday and get to see my girls grow up. I am also a little scared about the losing my income and the interaction with my coworkers! It will certainly be a adjustment being home everyday and not having a paycheck but I think Matt and I are in a good spot where we can find a happy medium and I won't feel bound to the house and can get out every now and then to release some stress! I have good friends and family that I can lean on! I will miss a lot of people at McCarty-Hull, I really did enjoy working there. I hope I am able to stay sane! I think I will also miss the day to day interaction with adults! I guess I will have to just make adjustments as I go. I haven't gotten emotional yet but I am sure as I clock out for the last time and say my goodbyes a few tears will be shed, I am such a sap, but I don't care! I have a lot of good memories from working here and had a lot of good times and laughs!! I hope to stay in touch with a few of my favorite people.
The big plan for the weekend is the Superbowl and I am pretty excited about it. Matt and I have been watching all the coverage from Dallas. It is really cool that the superbowl is in Dallas and the Steelers will be playing. I am a little sad that Matt and I can't go to Dallas and stalk all the players and tail gate at the stadium, but we will make do! I am on strict instructions from Matt that I better not go into labor on sunday or all hell is going to break loss! You guys probably think he is kidding or just being funny, but I think he is serious. Steeler football is very serious in our house, so I will have to take it easy these next couple days so we don't have to have any problems, lol! Well I am going to take a moment to get on my soap box, for all you Roethlisberger haters out GET OVER IT! There have been countless athletes that have made mistakes even worse ones and still come back. It seems the media and all non steeler fans have something to say. I think he handled it fine. He has said that he made stupid mistakes and is going to do everything in his power to make things right for his team, the city of Pittsburg and his family. What more do you want from him! Time will only tell if he has really changed and for the better. All I care about is that he plays good football and helps the steelers win another superbowl. Just so everyone knows, it takes more than one person to win a game!!!! I am just tiredd of commentators and sports writers writing and talking about it over over over and over again!!! This is football people not The Hills!!! Ok, that is all , I will get off my soap box.
I was going to try and write about the tv I watched and movies once a week, but since I have been busy at work and really hadn't had much time to watch tv or write about it. Hopefully next week I can get something up for you guys! Well that is all for now, Love you guys and God Bless!

Baby Room Pics!

I was finally able to upload pictures of baby Bailey's Room! I think it turned out pretty good! She will be my little Lovebug!!

Weekend Wrap Up!

Well first off, I am still PREGO! I am so ready to have this baby and start this new chapter of my life! I am in full nesting mood right now and couldn't go to sleep until the baby's room was all decorating, hopefully tomorrow I will have pictures of what it looks like! I used the same theme as I did with Aubrey, I kept all her bedding and stuff so it just seemed logically to reuse, like it was really used the first time! The theme is ladybugs, I really liked it cause it wasn't all pink and different. Yesterday I made Matt go get new blinds for the windows and shelves to hang up so if she does come early everything will be ready for her when she gets her! So Sunday was pretty much me decorating the baby's room and doing laundry, good times! The big event for the weekend was my shower. It was a freakin awesome shower! I have the best friends and family anyone could ask for! The girls over at http://www.jellybeansandjuniper.blogspot.com/ made me a ladybug themed diaper cake and cake and they both looked gorgeous! Go over to their site to see pictures, they turned out really good. My best friend from high school surprised me and flew in from Dallas to be here for the shower, it was so nice. I hardily get to see her and it made for a great surprise! I got a lot of diapers and really cute clothes. All things a new mommy needs and of course a few specialty items! Jessica also made Bailey a lady bug night light which looks great and had some ladybug burp rags made which were cute too! Of course between my mom, Matt's mom and step mom made sure Bailey will be just as spoiled as Aubrey is! On a side note Aubrey had just as many gifts to open as I did! Being the big sister is a important job and she is excited about the new baby but I am glad she was able to participate in the shower too, even if it made her a little more spoiled. Of course my batteries died in my camera so I will have to wait and steal photos from my friends that took pictures to show you guys! That was pretty much my weekend, all baby stuff! Next weekend should be fun too, SUPERBOWL BABY! Matt and I are huge steeler fans so we couldn't be more excited about the big this year and will be having a party on Sunday to watch the game, lets just hope I don't go into labor on Sunday!!! We shall see. Love you guys and God Bless!

Let's Go Mom!!!!

One of my favorite things about being a mom is taking Aubrey to all her activities watching her. My mom did such an awesome job toting me and brother around town and supporting every activity we did, I hope I can be just as supportive as she was. I danced for about 12 years and was so excited to get Aubrey into dance when she was old enough. She had a winter recital this December and it was so fun getting her costume ready, doing her hair and watching her up on the stage. I think she liked it and I guess time will tell if she wants to continue with it. I don’t want to be one of those parents that make their kids do sports or whatever. As long as Aubrey is involved in something I will be happy whether it is dance, sports, music or even skateboarding; I will be there cheering her on! As Aubrey gets older I want her to try different things. I definitely want to see if she likes sports. This past summer we did wee soccer and while it was fun watching her run around with a bunch of kids I think we will wait till she is in school to do more sports. I also want to see if she would like to do some sort of music lessons or art lessons or even get her into acting at the Amarillo Little Theater. It sounds like a lot, but now a days there are so many options for kids that there is no reason that any child should be sitting at home doing nothing! I am also a firm believer that when a child is involved in some kind of positive active activity they are less likely to get in trouble.  I just want her to know that whatever she does I am 100% behind her and will do my best to help her along!
With her leg warmers on!

Afer her winter recital!

Movies and TV keep me sane!

I am going to try at least once a week talk about what is on TV and Movies coming out for the weekend and new movies I watched. I love movies and so does Matt. We canceled the satellite almost a year ago for budgeting concerns so it was all movies all the time at the Baker house! Redbox is awesome, by the way! I do love to watch TV too. You can ask any of my friends, when I watch TV I become a total zombie especially if it is something I like.
The shows I am currently watching right now on a regular basis as in I don’t like to miss a episode are Bad Girls Club, Pretty Little Liars, Glee, NCIS, Modern Family, and Jersey Shore. I also love crime dramas so if I catch it on I will watch CSI, Law and Order, Criminal Minds, Castle, and The Mentalist. Matt and I both love to watch game shows too like Wipe Out (which is hilarious every time!), Minute to Win It and Million Dollar Money Drop. Quite the assortment, huh! I like to keep my options open. I know what you’re thinking Bad Girls Club? Jersey Shore??? Yes I do love reality television and the more drunken antics the better! Life kind of sucks sometimes and being able to sit back and watch other people act totally ridiculous on national television makes me feel a little better about myself! As time goes on I will elaborate more and more on what I like about each show and makes me want to watch it week after week!
Movies, gotta love movies. I enjoy watching most any type of movies except for maybe westerns, or war epics, but I have been known to watch movies from each of those genres. My 2 favorite genres are scary and romantic comedies. I am also a big comic book movie geek too. I am excited for the summer, some really awesome movies are coming out; Thor, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the new Scream. I really like watching trailers, maybe even more than watching the actual movie. Now becoming a mom has made appreciate a good kid-family friendly movie. Aubrey can finally go to a movie and sit through the whole thing without me wanting to pull my hair out. Her nana and I recently took her to go see Tangled, and she loved it, and you know what so did I! I love Disney princess movies and so glad that Aubrey does too! I have read a few articles that Disney won’t be doing any more princess movies any time soon so the classics will have to tide us over until then but Tangled was great. Periodically I will give my movie reviews on what is coming soon and what I have seen recently so stay tuned for that!
I am still really new to this blogging thing and just kind of winging it, so if it seems like I am all over the place I probably am! I am hoping the structure of this blog will just happen automatically! If you have any questions just ask! Love you guys and God Bless!

My Very First Blog!

So my good friends have started up a craft and cooking blog which inspired me to start a blog of my own. Their blog is www.jellybeansandjuniper.blogspot.com, you should check it out! I have always wanted to do this but never had the time, but since I am soon to become a stay at home mom, as in only 7 work days left for me, what a better time. Basically this blog will be about me and my family and everything in between. I am a pretty random person so you never know what I will be writing about. I am not a very good writer or speller so bear with me!
First off here is some info about me and the fam. Matt and I have been married for almost 5 years, which is crazy to me. We have a crazy/beautiful relationship. Marriage to me is almost if not harder than raising my kids. Like any other marriage we have our ups and downs but for the most part marriage has been a seriously great experience and can’t wait for what the future will bring us! We have a 4 year daughter named Aubrey Grace-Anne. She is such a hand-full but I wouldn’t have it any other way! She is in constant motion, always keeping me on my toes. I could go on and on about the funny crazy things she does but I don’t think there is enough room. I am expecting my second child any day now. We are having another girl and her name will be Bailey Elizabeth. Aubrey is very excited to have a sister, we will see if she is still excited after she gets here. Having a second child is what prompted me to be a stay home mom; I am scared and excited all at the same time. Hopefully this blog will help me keep my sanity!
I love to cook, take pictures and attempt to make crafts. I have a lot of ideas in my head of things I could do and lots of creative friends to help me. I wanted to use this blog as a tool to show my progress in all of these areas, along with documenting marriage life, my kids and my soon to be road to weight loss and getting into shape. I also love to read about gossip, not just celebrity but news, weather and movies and more. I wanted to use this blog to put my 2 cents on what is going on in the world as well.
So as you can see this blog will be about a lot of things! Can’t wait to get started and hopefully I will keep up with this! Love you all and God Bless!
